The development will accommodate 369 student bedrooms, arranged in variable studio and one-bed unit configurations.

The scheme consists of a four-storey element fronting the River Soar, with a twenty two-storey elliptical tower at the prominent corner of the site. This will contend for the tallest building in Leicester.

The external cladding materials include aluminium panels, coloured laminate cladding, resin based render and terracotta facing blocks. The building is highly insulated and will be heated by air source heat pumps, contributing to its target of 13% on site renewable energy.
