Andy studied architecture at Canterbury School of Architecture and then The University of Liverpool. Following his graduation in 1992, Andy worked for King McAllister (now Shed KM), where he gained his part 3 qualification. Andy became a Registered Architect in 1993.
Andy left King McAllister in 1996 to work for Foster and Partners, where he worked on a number of award winning university and office buildings from conception to completion, he was made an Associate in 1999.
After 6 years with Foster and Partners Andy left to join Hamilton Associates as an Associate Director in 2002 where he worked on the initial concept design and planning submissions on a variety of residential and mixed use projects as well as involvement in the management and promotion of the practice.
In October 2004 Andy re-located to Nottingham and joined maber as a project architect. Since joining, Andy has been responsible for a number of high profile projects in Nottingham and nationwide. Andy’s core skills include a wide range of technical and construction experience, client, consultant and statutory authority liaison as well as expertise in design and visualisation. Andy was appointed as an Associate for maber in 2008.
