In addition to his own office team management, project design and promotion responsibilities, Colin is accountable for the practice’s professional Health and Safety issues as well as our compliance with CDM regulations.
Colin started his architectural education in 1974 at The University of Nottingham School of Architecture. Following his subsequent qualification, Colin worked for 6 years at the Percy Thomas Partnership and gained experience in the design and construction of many large scale hospitals and public buildings, including notably the British Embassy in Jordan. Colin then joined maber, in 1987, where his major project experience soon became an asset to the growing company, leading to Colin being appointed as an Associate Director.
An imaginative concept designer with keen commercial awareness, Colin has worked on a variety of projects from small high quality historic refurbishments to large scale new build projects across the spectrum of education, community, commerce and industry. Close attention to detail is evident in all his work and his approach is fundamental to maber’s design philosophy.
