Currently I am assisting in developing the practice’s London presence and enjoying working on some exciting new projects within the capital, including new build student accommodation and PRS schemes.
The social and political aspects of architecture and the built environment are of real interest to me. In particular I am keen to examine modern construction techniques, such as prefabrication, and how this could be used to deliver large-scale regenerative residential and infrastructure projects.
I have also been exploring the benefits of Virtual Reality and developing a platform that allows for a more collaborative process within the built environment sector, using these tools to engage the wider public and allow them to have further input to the design process. Having led some interesting and successful workshops with residents of Thamesmead and the Alexander Road estates, I am looking forward to evolving maber’s VR service offer and the benefits it can bring to our clients and end users.
