The Energy Technologies Building for the The University of Nottingham has won best Education Project at the BREEAM Awards 2014.

 

The new centre, which achieved a BREEAM rating of ‘Outstanding’, was specifically designed for The University as a facility for research into sustainable energy and is an exemplar of low-carbon technology.

The awards ceremony was held at Ecobuild and attended by Mark Hobson along with other members of the project team.

The outstanding quality of this year’s winning projects has set the sustainable development bar even higher. They are not only testament to incredible technological ingenuity but also to the resourcefulness and vision of the teams that brought them to life and their ability to put people at their heart.
