Mariana’s experience spans a variety of sectors, with a particular focus on educational projects, Private Rented Sector (PRS), and student accommodation. This includes complex refurbishment projects on existing buildings, several of which are Listed.

Mariana’s interest in architecture lies primarily in the human-centred, ergonomic, and inclusive design of buildings and spaces dedicated to meeting and fulfilling the needs of the users. She pays a high degree of attention to design details, helping to define and enhance the overall experience and functionality of a space.

As a member of maber’s Diversity and Inclusion Working Group, Mariana contributes to initiatives that promote a safe, diverse, and supportive environment where colleagues can thrive, collaborate, and grow. Her work within the group includes helping shape company policies, promoting an inclusive culture, and raising awareness around practices that enhance wellbeing, comfort, and mutual care in the workplace.
