Ruzha has 10 years of industry experience that is built on the foundations of one-off housing, hospitality and high-end residential developments. With a methodical and meticulous approach, they drive the practice in putting environmental impact at the forefront of our work.

Since arriving at maber, Ruzha has worked on a variety of Higher Education and Public Sector Schemes. These projects focused on refurbishment, material reuse and energy efficiency which inspired a curiosity for sustainable practices.

Sustainability isn’t just a buzzword to Ruzha, as proven with their work to bring environmentally-conscious attitude to the company, such as encouraging a passive design ethos and improving carbon literacy across the offices. Working as Project Architect to deliver the Beckingham Cadet Training Centre, Ruzha finds opportunities to apply these principles in practice and expand their knowledge around the challenges of innovative building solutions.

A champion for young architects, Ruzha often volunteers with the FLUID Diversity Mentoring Programme, which supports underrepresented groups within the construction industry. In the office, even with a constant workflow, they find time to work with our Part 1 Assistants to  help them grow and gain confidence.

Ruzha has cultivated essential additions to the workplace, such as raising money for Bloody Good Period and ProKG as part of International Women’s Day, with the totals being matched by maber. They have also driven the inclusion of free period products across the offices to make them period positive spaces. Ruzha is someone who cares sincerely about every aspect of their work, on the one hand a talented and passionate architect, the other, committed and considerate to their colleagues and workplace.
