Alex is deeply interested in the relationship between architecture and daily life, specifically how spatial layout influences routine, and how human behaviour can actively shape design.

He is passionate about research-driven projects that thoroughly investigate site context and user demographics. This focus stems from Alex’s third-year project, where he analysed how spatial design affects individuals living with dementia, reinforcing his belief in the need for more empathetic architecture.

Fascinated by how drawings and representation methods directly inform the built form, he draws creative inspiration from Diller Scofidio + Renfro and Carlo Scarpa, whose final designs clearly reflect their initial conceptual processes.
