BIM
At our event, you will have the opportunity to speak with Josh Chrystal our BIM manager. For over twenty years maber have been using 3D parametric modelling, from small scale school extensions to brand new £300m hospitals. You are invited to come and ask questions and explore our friendly approach to the digital world of drawings.
model makers
Our teams have been using physical models to develop their designs through a variety of ways. With 3D printers in all of our offices, we can produce sleek scaled buildings; but it’s not all about modern technology, we still like recycled cardboard & glue guns! Alex Lipinski, will talk you through our processes and the value models provide during the design stage.
NBS
Nick Greenwood will be introducing the future in construction specification using the new collaborative, online system NBS Chorus and its intelligent link to the BIM model, ensuring discrepancies between drawings and spec are a thing of the past.
inclusive design
Inclusive design is of ever-growing importance. Getting it right from the beginning saves time, money and creates better environments for everyone. As a people focussed practice, maber believe that innovation in inclusivity is a priority. Stephanie Kyle will talk you through the ways that we are advancing inclusive design within the industry and show you that inclusive design doesn’t have to be ugly or expensive.
