This week, we answered that question at our second BRPD event, ‘Unlocking Gateway 2’.

In our Birmingham office, in front of a full house of developers, contractors, and project managers, our Studio Director, Nick Keightley, shared our toolkit for successful Gateway 2 approval. He presented a case study showing how one of our HRB projects, a new-build student accommodation project in Nottingham for Cassidy Group, became the first Gateway 2 approval in the country in just 24 weeks.

Nick’s presentation was packed with invaluable lessons, practical insights, and effective strategies for navigating the regulatory landscape and securing a timely and successful outcome. Following his talk, an engaging discussion panel delved deeper into the practicalities, sharing wide ranging perspectives around the Building Safety Act and the steps to achieving Gateway 2.
