Hilary joined maber in 1992 and worked with us for 28 years. She became our first interior design specialist and her big personality, warmth and talent was felt throughout the practice.

Hilary’s father, John, set up a bursary in her memory at her old university in Newcastle to support female architectural students and has generated a wonderful legacy encouraging and enabling access into the profession.

We hosted John and some bursary students at our Nottingham office so they could meet and share their experiences. John shared more about Hilary while the students recounted their stories and how the bursary has supported them.
