Maber Architects are proud to announce that the company is now a 100% Employee Owned business.

The transition to employee ownership is part of the practice’s ongoing commitment to social value and the inclusive involvement of all staff. A new Trust board will oversee company governance and bonus distributions and a new Employee Advisory Panel will involve staff from each office location in the day to day decisions and operations of the company.

Alongside the transition to employee ownership, the board of directors has also changed. Long serving Directors Mark Hobson, Fergus Lowe and Nick Keightley have stepped down from the board to take on other key roles within the business whilst Colin Tompkins has retired from the business after 37 years of service.

Two new Directors, Tim Boxford and Rachael Trott, join Ian Harris to form the new board.

“It is a very exciting time for our business” said Managing Director Ian Harris. “We have taken time over the last 18 months to build a very detailed and robust plan for growth and remain committed to creating great architecture, being a brilliant place to build a career and delivering an outstanding service to our clients. Being Employee Owned means that every person in our team thinks, acts, cares and is invested in projects and client relationships as an owner of the business – we think this is a game changer.”
