We’re excited to announce that we have been approved by BRE to BIM Level 2 standard.

Furthermore, we’re one of only a few organisations in the UK to be certified!

The Government issued a target of achieving BIM Level 2 across all public sector asset procurements by April this year but so far only four other architectural practices and 16 business overall, including us, have met the standard.

Our BIM Manager, Simon Graham, has worked hard together with everyone across the practice to achieve the goal.

Our MD, Mark Hobson, is really pleased with the news:

“We were an early adopter of BIM, and we have seen it work to great effect in a managed CAD context on real projects. We were keen to achieve Level 2 as early as possible to achieve the additional benefits. It took a lot of hard work, and we are delighted to have received the accreditation. Level 2 allows us to work with our partners in a collaborative 3D environment where data is attached to the building model, allowing everyone access to all the information they need about the project from the big picture of the overall design down to the finest detail such as where a door handle was purchased.”
