Richard has designed and completed various large and small-scale commercial, retail, education, residential and mixed used architecture led projects. He also has a particular specialism in high-profile and significant culture and conservation projects.

 

Richard joined maber in 2011, and with expertise in guiding projects from initial concept through to site delivery, as well as multiple awards, he is passionate and focused on conservation, restoration and sustainable retrofitting of existing buildings.

This is demonstrated in his substantial experience of working on Listed Buildings and Scheduled Ancient Monuments. Standouts include the Grade II Listed Jewry Wall Museum and the historic Grade I Listed Great Hall at Leicester Castle for De Montfort University.

With the level of sensitivity and complexity regarding projects of this nature, Richard is a dependable, skilled and pragmatic architect who is able to balance historical preservation with modern sustainability needs. Richard is currently working towards his application for Conservation Architect status.
