In my role as Design Leader I aspire to promote and enhance design quality through encouragement and coaching of our team members to fully-explore and challenge a project brief. This translates into well-designed and successful schemes, ultimately benefiting our clients’ experience. Our Design Leaders also strengthen maber’s renowned studio culture, encouraging open discussion and debate around design and presentation, exploration of innovative methods of working, and promotion of internal design-led reviews, creative groups and events.
This compliments my continuing role as Architect and Project Lead, overseeing the delivery of schemes from inception to completion, upholding design integrity and loyalty to the original concept, whilst creating solutions to practical challenges that arise along the way. I’m a firm believer in the development of strong working relationships with clients, fellow consultants and other members of the design team as being key to this process, something for which maber is renowned.
