As part of our series of Creativity+ posts, this time we are sharing our staff’s venture into creativity with modern technologies.

3D printing

Five members of staff based in our Leicester office, together purchased a 3D printer in kit form so that they could learn how it is put together and how it operates, which will help in the long term with calibration, fine tuning etc.

They are using the 3D printer to make architectural models, as well as models of elephants, fish and cars to get a feel for how the machine works.

One team member, Richard Issleib, is even planning to use the machine to print decorations for his upcoming wedding.

See our other Creativity+ posts for more examples of our staff creativity.
