maber’s very own Bryony Dennis was nominated for the G4C West Midlands New Professional of the Year Award.

Congratulations to Bryony Dennis of our Birmingham studio on reaching the final shortlist of the G4C West Midlands New Professional of the Year Award.

The New Professional of the Year Award is across the entire construction industry and open to those under 30 years of age or who have been in their profession for less than 10 years.

Bryony qualified as an architect in 2022 and has recently become a WELL Accredited Professional (WELL AP) alongside her role as a Project Architect at maber.

With a passion for wellbeing, Bryony is also an Ambassador for the Architectural Benevolent Society (ABS), as well as a Diversity and Inclusive representative here at maber.

As part of the ABS, raising awareness and funding for the charity has been an important initiative for Bryony.

The charity offers mental and financial support for those within the architectural industry, something of which Bryony has promoted within maber through presentations to colleagues.

She has helped to organise and co-host the ABS Sip and Paint event, as well as the ABS Birmingham Quiz, which promoted fun and wellbeing with a focus on mental health.

Bryony has worked on several projects across the high-tech and residential sectors, acting as Project Architect, Lead Consultant and Architect.

Commitments to sustainability are critical to our work here at maber, and Bryony has immersed herself in this pledge through seminars and workshops, presentations and learning about circular economies.

Bryony has been involved in different forms of mentorship, most notably hosting a Q&A for ‘More Than a Movement’ to an audience of students.

One of the attending mentors enjoyed a tour of our Birmingham studio to learn more about architecture.

It is not just architecture where Bryony has shown her talent as she has formed a group of creatives called the Creative Network.

The group aims to share and inspire creative pursuits while promoting community and wellbeing.

At maber, we are all very proud of Bryony for her nomination in the G4C West Midlands New Professional of the Year Award category.
