The impressive Rolls Royce Test Bed 80 project won the Construction Project of the Year Award and Nottingham Trent University’s MTIF at Boots Enterprise Zone was Finalist for Sustainable Development of the Year.

The impressive Rolls Royce Testbed 80 project won the Construction Project of the Year Award.

Testbed 80 has internal area of 7,500m2, making it larger than a Premiership football pitch, and the world’s largest indoor aerospace testbed.

The advanced technology facility can test a range of Rolls-Royce’s engines and has the capability to test the UltraFan® demonstrator, the blueprint for the company’s next generation of engines.

It is also equipped to use Sustainable Aviation Fuel.

Nottingham Trent University’s MTIF (Medical Technologies Innovation Facility) is one of two MTIF schemes we delivered for the University and forms part of a dual campus development.

The MTIF Development Centre based on the Boots Enterprise Zone is a hub to allow revolutionary medical technologies to be brought to market and enable the pilot production and commercialisation of the products to meet future healthcare needs.
