The initial concept includes a prestigious office building, university academic facilities, student accommodation and a potential conference centre. Part of the development site includes the Grade II Listed Guildhall, with proposals to transform this historic building into a boutique hotel.

Contemporary in appearance, the designs of the proposed buildings will complement and contrast with the historic buildings in the immediate vicinity. The palette of materials for the new buildings will be kept simple, the elevations will incorporate stone to reflect the surrounding buildings. The scheme will create a series of high quality iconic buildings which will enhance the area.

The commercial block will provide up to 100,000sqft of grade A office accommodation rarely found outside of London and could be let as a single building or sub divided to meet the needs of specific occupiers.

Retail, bars and restaurants can be offered at Ground Floor and Plaza level.
