The bustling atmospheric London quarter of Covent Garden was named after the medieval walled garden and orchard of Westminster Abbey and convent. So, what’s the attraction now in 21stC London for someone who might choose to live there?

Living on James Street means being close to the hub of the quarter. There is something for everyone to immerse themselves in – theatres, museums, myriad restaurants and bohemian bars, a wonderful selection of retail destinations and of course there are the ubiquitous on-street performers around the converted flower, fruit and vegetable market buildings. Boredom and Covent Garden just don’t go together.

Our Interiors Team have remodelled the accommodation at Number 31a to maximise the space to provide 3 extremely well appointed stylish apartments to suit today’s Covent Garden residents. Each has been designed with a contemporary aesthetic to complement and contrast sympathetically with the historic fabric of the host building.

On the first floor, a generous apartment with a fully fitted kitchen, furnished living / dining and entertaining space, separate double bedroom with a bijou en-suite shower sets the scene of quality fixtures, fittings and decor.

The second floor apartment follows the same model, but here a galley style fitted kitchen with additional storage occupies its own space just off the main entertaining area. An entrance lobby separates the living / dining spaces from the sleeping and ablutions areas where a large bedroom with en-suite wet room – shower completes this impressive apartment.

The third apartment is a furnished duplex arrangement split over the third and fourth floors. On the third floor, an entrance lobby leads to two double bedrooms, one with an en-suite and the other sharing a dedicated bathroom with luxurious bath / shower. The fourth floor is approached via an internal bespoke winding wooden staircase which ascends into a spacious bright living / dining area with its own fully fitted kitchen. Again the contemporary aesthetic of the furnishings, fittings and decor fitting seamlessly into the historic fabric of this unique apartment with its pitched roof and dormer windows.

Each apartment has air conditioning, heating, appropriate technology and security measures designed in for future proofed 21stC living in a modern city. A secure bicycle store and separate refuse recycling room are located on the first floor.
