Many of the apartments have private gardens, terraces and balconies and there is also a private residents’ garden in the central courtyard. The project includes a series of serviced apartments with secure car parking for residents as well as several retail units.

The 1.25 acre site, adjacent The Park, was formerly occupied by the Hooleys car dealership. It represents a significant city centre, brownfield development and provides a new local landmark.

The building has been designed as a contemporary villa, whose scale and form respects its context and neighbours, and reinstates the streetscape. The difficult and varied site topography has influenced the dramatic architectural solution. The form and treatment of the buildings respond to the site and the differing character of the adjacent streets.

A limited palette of brick and render has been used for the main elevations, with a base of polished and textured facing blockwork. Feature elements of black terracotta and timber cladding are used for the corner tower and penthouses respectively.
