Distinctive, inspirational and impressive, it reflects the company’s position as ‘the world’s best known swimwear brand’.
The design has been conceived with Speedo’s core values at its heart in order to attract world class partners and create a sense of pride in the workforce and encourage high staff morale, effectiveness and aid recruitment and staff retention.
The building includes a mix of cellular and open plan office accommodation, a prominent welcoming main entrance with triple height atrium, meeting facilities and staff areas including a restaurant.
Passive sustainable technologies, such as reduced air permeability, high performance solar glazing and solar shading have been incorporated leading to a BREEAM Excellent rating.
We are the face of Miller Birch on the night when collecting the gongs. However our achievements over the last year are down to teamwork and we value very highly the relationship we have with our consultants. maber is a key member of the team and a major factor in our success.

Speedo selected the site on a number of criteria, including the design itself and our confidence in the team to deliver what they promised. We decided to use the same team to work with us on the fit out elements we wanted. This has worked well to give us a seamless building within which we have been able to design our workspaces.
Chris worked with us on space planning and worked closely with our Creative Director and furniture providers to develop interior layouts as well as elements such as feature lighting. I valued Chris’ opinions and advice, and we have built good working relationships.
