The award ‘New Build Complementing the Historic Built Environment’ was awarded to our Lumis project. The large residential scheme has redeveloped a former bus depot site to create a vibrant student development in Leicester’s city centre. Formed of four buildings centred around a stunning landscaped courtyard, maber provided architectural, interior and landscape design services. Also gaining recognition from the Civic Society was Leicester Castle Business School. The redevelopment of the Grade I Listed Leicester Castle, has sensitively transformed the 12th century former courts to a modern teaching facility for De Montfort University. The scheme was Highly Commended by the Civic Society.
