Councillor Michael Payne, Chair of the Fire Authority, and Councillor Sybil Fielding, fire authority member and councillor for Worksop West, formally opened the new fire station.  Members of the design team were also in attendance including the contractor GF Tomlinson.

The flagship station is incredibly energy efficient and provides the Fire Service with state of the art facilities.
