A new double height entrance foyer provides a clear understanding of the building’s internal layout and includes a lift that connects all three levels.

The extended facilities include a new two-storey fitness suite with a free weights lifting area, cardio-vascular training area and a spinning aerobics room, sauna and lounge areas. This complements the existing 950 sqm Sports Halls and 2 squash courts.

The pool has been refurbished with new changing areas, creating a more efficient layout, including specific dry and wet changing areas. An 80-cover cafe area has been provided adjacent to the entrance / foyer with views towards the pool hall. New administration and meeting rooms have been provided, including male and female staff lockers and a break-out space.

The exterior of the building has benefitted from recladding in several areas, including the roof.
