The accommodation is a combination of studio and cluster bed groups with shared amenity space at ground floor. Phase One also includes accommodation for a pharmacy and a doctors’ surgery, which were previously located on the site.

maber has worked closely with the client and CRM Student Management to adapt the previous consent for the site to optimise the unit size, layouts and mix to provide a more cost effective and efficient design solution.

The student accommodation has been constructed using volumetric modular units which have been supplied by Elements Europe Ltd. These are set above a 2-storey, steel framed plinth which provides space for a shared social area, pharmacy and doctors’ surgery. This approach has enabled the challenging design and construction programme to be achieved.
